Vizio 8 Inch Android Tablet
Vizio has now rolled out their new 8-inch Android tablet in the US. This tablet is made mainly for entertainment, as it allow you to enjoy the web, movies, TV shows, music, and to control home theater devices thanks to the built-in IR blaster.
The device comes a V.I.A. Plus interface and sport a 8 inch an 1024 x 768-pixel capacitive touchscreen. Along with that it support an ambient Light Sensor, an accelerometer and equipped with a front-facing VGA camera.
The device feature a 1GHz processor pack with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (2GB are available), a microSD slot and support 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth. It will run on andorid OS which give Access hundreds of thousands of apps from the Android Market. The battery can give upto 10 hours of operation and will cost $299 and is available through Amazon, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Costco and others.
