Toshiba Thrive Tablet, To Release In December
About a day ago it is said that Toshiba is readying a smaller Thrive Tablet, that features a durable and slip-resistant Easy Grip finish but manages to be just 0.47 inches thick. The incoming device sport a 7-inch (1280 x 800) touchscreen and powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 chip. This is a high-end tablet that also utilizes the Adaptive Display and Resolution+ video enhancement technologies.
The device is also pack with 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot and equipped with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2MP front camera. A gyroscope and stereo speakers is supported along WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, mini USB and micro HDMI ports.
The Toshiba 7-inch Thrive tablet will run on Android 3.2 and said to become available in December 2011. Unfortunately there is no pricing info given.
