Sprint Epic 4G Smartphone coming August 31st
Sprint has announced that they will be releasing their version of the Samsung Galaxy S, namely the Sprint Epic 4G Smartphone to Sprint Subscribers starting on August 31st, 2010. Customers who wants to pre-order before the said date can do so on the Sprint’s Epic 4G Site, customers who reserve Samsung Epic 4G will be able to complete their purchase beginning Tuesday, Aug. 31.
The Sprint Epic 4G is the second 4G Smartphone to be sold by the carrier, following the Sprint HTC Evo 4G. Like the Evo, the Epic features a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, there is also a 5-Megapixel Camera with autofocus, it record 720p HD videos and there is a VGA camera on the front for video calling. Dig deep enough and you will find a 1GHz Processor, WiFi b/g/n, DLNA, GPS Navigation and the handset supports microSD card up to 16GB. The Epic 4G will be available for $249.99 with a new 2yr- service agreement after $100 mail-in rebate.
