This High Performance 2.5 inch Silicon Power Velox V30 SSD is based on the latest SATA III 6.0Gbps interface, that top read speed of 550 MB/s, and a top write speed of 500 MB/s. This SSD is designed for gamers and professionals as it uses a SandForce controller chip which provide read and write speed as mention. The SSD also supports the TRIM command and Garbage Collection technology to counter performance drop issues due to long periods of use and continuous write actions. Currently the Silicon Power Velox V30 SSD is available in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB or 480GB storage, sorry no word on pricing at this time.
