Sharp Galapagos Tablets Get Release Date

In November Sharp has announced a release date for their Galapagos Tablets which runs on a modified version of the Google Android OS and available in 5.5-inch and 10.8-inch models. Both table is said to support Wi-Fi, a web browser and a microSD port. In addition to that, the tablets comes with several games and a huge library of e-books.

The 5.5-inch Galapagos Tablets sport a a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels while the 10.8 inch boasts a resolution of 1366 x 800 pixels. currently the price for both the boasts a resolution of 1366 x 800 pixels start at 9,800 Yen ($473) and 54,800 Yen ($652), respectively.
