NEC To Drop A New P-IPS LCD Monitor Set For 2011

On December 6, 2010 NEC press release introduced their upcoming P-IPS LCD monitor which is set for a 2011 release. The NEC monitor is designed specifically for professionals, and sport 30-inch widescreen and provide a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 and gives 6ms GTG response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 350 cd/m2 brightness.

The monitor also support an in-built 14-bit LUT for the smoothest color reproduction, a 3D LUT for precise color space emulation and provides 107% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space.

The MultiSync PA301W has a set price of 2,259 Euro (about $2,995) and said to be come available in January 2011.
