MSI Tow Sandy Bridge-based laptops, The GE620 and GR620

Today MSI announces two new laptop base on the on Intel’s Huron River platform, the gaming-oriented GE620 and GR620. Both laptop comes with a 15.6-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display and feature a 2nd generation Core processor. The machine comes pack with a DDR3 memory, a 320/500/640GB hard drive and feature the Easy Face facial recognition software (which makes good use of the built-in webcam) and the Cinema Pro technology (which tweaks the display and audio settings to ensure a better media experience).

The GR620 feature the Intel integrated graphics while the GE620 use the GeForce GT 540M 1GB graphics card. The device comes equipped with Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1, plus a 5-in-1 card reader and two USB 3.0 ports and support a 4-channel speaker system (backed by THX TruStudio Pro). The device will run on Windows 7 Home Premium and get its power from a 6-cell battery.

Unfortunately there is no pricing on the MSI GE620 and GR620 at this time.
