MSI 15.6 Inch CX640 and CR640 Sandy Bridge-based Laptops

Recently MSI has introduced two Sandy Bridge-based Laptops, the 15.6 inch CX640 and CR640. The machines design with a smooth metallic brush finish and are promoted as multimedia notebooks.

Both notebooks an LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display and powered by the 2nd generation Core processor. The CR640 use the Intel integrated graphics while the CX640 use a discrete graphics cards, namely the GeForce GT 520M 1GB.

Both machine comes pack with 8GB of RAM, a 320/500/640GB hard drive and a DVD writer along with a card reader. The laptops also feature Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, optional Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0 optional, and a HDMI output plus a tereo speakers backed by SRS PC Sound.

The 15.6 Inch CX640 and CR640 run Windows 7 Home Premium, powered by a 6-cell or 8-cell battery(ECO engine power saving technology which help battery life top 8 hours.) The CX640 has already begun hitting stores and cost just about €599 and €649 in two configurations.
