Motorola Xoom Family Edition Android Tablet

Motorola has introduced a new Android tablet recently, called the Xoom Family Edition. Those look like the regular Motorola Xoom tablet, however it comes with kid-specific apps and other family use apps. Its still a power house tablet, as it sport a 10.1-inch (1280×800) IPS touchscreen display and powered by a dual-core 1GHz nVidia Tegra 2 processor with 1GB of RAM. Clearly an entertainment tablet which give access to other day to day activities including socil networking and games.

The device is pack with 16GB of internal storage space and equipped with 5MP AutoFocus rear-facing camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording. As mention the device comes with Zoodles, the Kid Mode app, Motorola’s MotoPrint and MotoPack, Quickoffice, Asphalt 6, and SIM City Deluxe. The device will run on Google Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS and expect to become available via Best Buy for $379 a pop.
