Motorola New Droid Xyboard Tablets Coming To Verizon
The recently announced Motorola New Droid Xyboard, which was announced in the US a few days ago have now been introduced by Verizon Wireless today. Verizon announced that it will be selling the both the 10.1 inch and 8.2. versions, in its stores later in December.
Just to remind you, both 10.1 and the 8.2 inch versions share similar hardware specs, which include a 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and equipped a five megapixel rear view camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. They will also run on Google’s Android 3.2 operating system, plus Verizon has promised a free update to Android 4.0 in the near future. Also to mention that both device will be able to link to Verizon’s LTE network and will have a mobile hotspot features that allow up to five other devices to use the tablet’s LTE connection.
The current pricng for the both Droid Xyboard, include the 10.1 inch will sell the 16 GB model for $529.99, the 32 GB model for $629.99 and and the 64 GB for $729.99. The 8.2 inch version comes in two models; the 16 GB model will sell for $429.99 and the 32 GB model will sell for $529.99. All of the prices are based on a two year contract.
