Microsoft Building Productivity Apps For Symbian Belle smartphones
Coming to the end of the 3Q, Nokia and Microsoft seems to made some arrangement about the Symbian Belle OS. The Symbian platform will be getting a whole range of productivity apps for smartphones running Symbian Belle, build by Microsoft. On top of that coming in the Q4 it will release free downloads, no less than four apps Namely:
- Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile – for cost efficient IM, presence, audio and web meetings on-the-go.
- Microsoft PowerPoint Broadcast – quick broadcast of presentations directly from PC to mobile.
- Microsoft OneNote – rich note taking with images.
- Microsoft Document Connection – single view to documents stored on mobile, including email attachments as well as documents on Microsoft SharePoint® 2010 sites.
