Maingear 3D-ready eX-L 17 gaming laptop Debut
Recently Maingear has launched a powerful gaming notebook, the eX-L 17 3D, which is based on the Huron River platform and wow using a Core i7-2920XM processor overclocked from 2.5 GHz to 4.8 GHz. The system come sporting a a 17.3-inch (1920 x 1080) 120Hz display with a matte screen and a GeForce GTX 484M 2GB graphics card. It is pack with up to 16GB of RAM, up to two HDDs or SSDs and equipped with a DVD writer or Blu-ray combo drive.
The gaming laptop also support 802.11 b/g/n WiFi (optionally you can put in a Bigfoot Networks Killer WiFi-n card) plus bluetooth as well as a built-in IR emitter (to communicate with the bundled 3D glasses). The eX-L 17 3D gaming laptop runs on Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate) and get power from a 8-cell battery. It is said the system will cost just about $2,610.
