Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Laptop And X220 Convertible Tablet On Sale

Not such a long wait, as Lenovo have now announced the availability of their ThinkPad X220 laptop and the ThinkPad X220 Tablet (convertible tablet) which is based on the Intel’s Huron River platform and support 12.5-inch (1366 x 768) IPS display.

The ThinkPad X220 is powered by a 2.1 GHz Core i3-2310M or 2.3 GHz Core i5-2410M processor use a Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics and pack with 2GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive plus a a 54mm ExpressCard slot, and SD card reader. The machine also support Wifi, a 720p webcam and optional mobile broadband with power coming from a 6-cell battery will cost just about $849.

As for the ThinkPad X220 Tablet (convertible tablet) which feature a multi-touch display that can be rotated, powered by a 2.1 GHz Core i3-2310M CPU and Core i5 options and come at a price of $1,249. The Core i5 options will be available sometime in May.
