Installing Digicel Broadband WiMAX USB Modem

Installing your WiMAX USB Modem is easy to setup, just plug in and follow the instruction that appear.

Step one: Plug in your WiMAX USB Modem(dongle), and a screen like this should appear. Click on the link below  Install or run program.

Once that link has been clicked you should see the process been installed looking like this.

Step two: The  screen look like this go on and click next

You should then Accept tearms and condition to continue or for next to be high lighted.

This screen will ask for your name, if you chose to enter one along with a company name(this is optional)

Step three, this screen shows where the setup will install files, just click next to proceed

We are almost there, this is where you click on the install button to start the process

The screen will then look like this, showing the files been installed after you have clicked the installed button

Once the installation is complete, you will see this prompt showing you the drivers been intalling

And finally once the process is complete you will then need to click finish

Once the Dongle is installed, you will see and icon on your computer screen with the word Digicel Broadband CM. Double click said icon and you will be prompt with a pop up window looking like this

Once you are connected, that same pop up windows (image above) will change showing you “Click to connect”. Once you have click the icon and you are connected, you will see “Digicel Broadband”.

If you are not seeing any any info about connecting, unplug your WiMAX USB modem for 30 second to a  minute. Replug your modem ensure you are seeing the LED indicator blinking red, after you have connect to the service, the LED indicator will then start showing a green light.

(ensure you are in an area with 4G coverage. presently only 60% of the island Jamaica is covered)
