IN Media 7-inch and 10-inch Tablets

Set-top box hardware and software supplier IN Media Corp has announced their 7-inch and 10-inch LCD touchscreens Tablets, which will run on Android 2.1 OS and powered by an ARM-based processor.

The tablets feature Wifi and bluetooth connectivity, support HDMI output and a front-facing camera mainly for video conferencing.

“Consumers can talk on the phone, play games, read ebooks, listen to music, view movies and experience internet content on both the device itself and many external viewing devices. The touch screen device will allow internet video sharing sites such as YouTube to be viewed anywhere or time. This is much more than a tablet,” said IN Media CEO Nick Karnik. “It’s a computer, communication device, and entertainment center with an SD storage card good for up to another 32GB.”
