HTC Set To Unveil Quad-core Tablet PC At MWC
With the released of the quad-core Tegra 3 processor for smartphone and tablets. There have been reports of upcoming quad-core tablets and smartphones.
According to digitime HTC is likely to unveil a new Android-based tablet PC running on a quad-core CPU from Nvidia along with two new Android smartphones in February at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.
Apart from the recent leaked HTC Edge which is expected to be quad-core smartphone and the HTC Zeta said to be quad-core device as well. With not much info, digitimes have gotten some detail of an upcoming quad-core tablets from HTC.
The report also continuse to say The quad-core tablet PC is expected to launch prior to the release of Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system scheduled at the end of the third quarter of 2012, the paper indicated.
As well as One of HTC’s two new Android phones will be also powered by a Nvidia quad-core chip, the paper said.
