HTC Flyer To Ship In The US As Of May 22, 2011
Rolling in fast to the US, HTC’s first tablet, the HTC Flyer, which will reach Europe on May 9. With in the same month will be heading to the US, as BestBuy stated the Flyer will begin shipping in the US later this month, between the 22nd and the 29th, to be exact. So it is a possibility that the HTC Flyer will get the Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS upgrade.
Just to remind you, the device sport a a 7-inch (1024 x 600) touchscreen supporting both finger and pen input (a stylus is bundled with the device),powered by a 1.5 GHz single-core Qualcomm processor and pack with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot.
The Flyer also equipped with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera. Wifi, Bluetooth and HSPA+/WCDMA is supported along with a digital compass, a G-sensor and a micro USB port. The HTC Flyer runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and get power from a 4000 mAh battery and will cost just about $500
