HP WiFi-Only TouchPad For US On July 1st
HP recently confirmed their WiFi-only version of its TouchPad, to be available in the US as of July 1st 2011. The tablet comes with the 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, which can handle day to day activities and a 1GB RAM, a 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. The device sport a 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 multi-touch capacitive display and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Confirm as a WebOS based tablet, which is equipped with an accelerometer sensor and a light sensor. The HP TouchPad also support WiFi, Bluetooth, a micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headset jack. The device will run on WebOS 3.0 with power coming from a 6300mAh battery. where pricing are concerned, the 16GB model will have a retail price of $499 and the 32GB model will cost $599 (pre-orders begin June 19th).
