HP TouchPad Unveiled Pricing And Availability

The HP TouchPad, which sport a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768) multi-touch capacitive display and powered by WebOS 3.0, pricing and availability have been unveiled by HP’s CEO Leo Apotheker, as he confirmed at the most recent HP Summit that the TouchPad would be available starting June 2011. The device comes equipped with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor and come pack with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, uses an accelerometer sensor and a light sensor. The device also support 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera A-GPS (3G modes only), plus Wifi, bluetooth, a micro-USB port along with a 3.5mm headset jack. The HP TouchPad gets its power from a 6300mAh battery. The HP TouchPad will cost just about $499 upwards.
