HP Introduced Slate 2 Windows Tablet PC
Targeting business user, as HP has introduced their new windows Tablet PC, called the Slate 2. The Slate 2 comes with TPM embedded security chip and runs windows 7 OS. Design with a silver like frame as it sport a an 8.9-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive touchscreen that feature both finger and pen input. The device is powered by a 1.6 GHz Atom Z670 processor and pack with up to a 64GB mSATA SSD.
The new business tablet support WiFi, Bluetooth, optional 3G and also equipped with a rear-facing 3-megapixel camera, a front VGA camera and SRS Premium Sound. An SD card slot is supported along with connector via USB 2.0 port and one HDMI output. The HP Slate 2 comes with a battery that give up to 6 hours of operation on fully charge.
The Slate 2 is expected to become available later this month and will cost just about $699.
