Gigabyte Preparing The Release Of The T1005P dual-core Convertible Netbook

Gigabyte Technology is preparing a new 10 inch netbook that can convert in to tablet via its has a rotating display. Call the T1005P, the device sport a a 10.1-inch (1366 x 768) resistive touchscreen and pack with a 1.5 GHz Atom N550 dual-core processor and uses 1/2GB of DDR3 memory and 250GB or 320GB hard drive.

The Convertible Netbook also support GMA 3150 integrated graphics, Gigabit Ethernet along with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and optionally, a 3.5G module.

Other spec include a 4-in-1 card reader, USB 3.0 and a 1.3 megapixel webcam allowing video chatting/calls plus two 1.5W speakers. The T1005P gets its power from a 6-cell battery with the possibility of either Windows 7 Starter or Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. Unfortunately there is no pricing info.
