Fujitsu LifeBook TH40/D tablet PC Delayed
Fujitsu LifeBook TH40/D tablet PC has been delayed, as it was planned for a late June release in Japan. The tablet now has no new launch date or plans for any as yet. The LifeBook TH40/D is also Fujitsu’s first mobile device based around Intel’s Oak Trail platform.
Well just to inform you, the Oak Trail was built for tablets, offers up-to all day battery life, enhanced performance and features integrated graphics and memory controller built directly into the processor die. The device comes with the 1.5 GHz Atom Z670 processor yes and a 10.1-inch LED-backlit (1024 x 600) touchscreen which is pack with 1GB of RAM, an 120GB (4200 RPM) hard drive. The device comes with SD card slot and equipped with 0.3 megapixel camera.
Other feature include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 and a HDMI ports along with a 23Wh battery allowing for up to 6 hours of operation. Fujitsu said that the LifeBook TH40/D would cost 79,800 yen (about 989 USD) but the delay may result in some modifications.
