Efika MX Smartbook Get Price Cut

Back in September, the Genesi USA’s Efika MX Smartbook was release with price at $349. Now without warning a significant price have left the Efika MX for just about $199. This is said “According to Genesi the price slash is intended at providing ‘affordable state-of-the-art computing and Internet access’ to more people”.

The Efika MX Smartbook comes with an 800 MHz Freescale i.MX515 processor and sport a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) LED-backlit display and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. The device also comes with a stereo speaker along with USB 2.0. The device is pack with 16GB of flash storage and an SD/MMC card slot. It also support 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1. It is also said a 3G-equipped version is also available for $249.
