Asus U46SV Ultra-thin Laptop Now In Europe
Asus has now made the availability of their U46 ultra-thin laptop, based on Intel’s Huron River platform, in the European market. Apart from the Huron River platform, the laptop is design with a hinge-forward design, aluminum covers, a thickness of just over one inch (28mm). This U Series comes with a LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display and feature the ever fast processor, the a 2.3 GHz Core i5-2410M.
Also equipped with a GeForce GT 540M 1GB graphics card (Optimus support included), for clear images and videos and pack with4/6GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive and equipped with an 8x DVD writer. Support a 4-in-1 card reader, Wifi, bluetooth 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet and one USB 3.0 port. A 0.3 megapixel webcam and a HDMI output is also included and a 8-cell battery.
The Asus U46SV will run Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and will cost €779 (unit with 4GB of RAM) while the €799 (6GB RAM version).
