ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Tablet Heading For UK

The transformer android tablet, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Tablet, is now heading for the UK and schedule to hit market on March 30, 2011. The device which comes with 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display and powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, can be transform in to a notebook as it comes with an optional full QWERTY keyboard that transforms the tablet into a notebook style PC.

The device is pack with 512MB/1GB RAM, a 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot and equipped with a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera and will run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS.

The device will be sold for a retail price between 379 GBP (about $606) and 399 GBP (about $639) depending on storage.
