Acer Aspire 5750 and 7750 Laptops Debut In Europe
Acer has rolled out two new laptops based on on Intel’s Huron River platform, and will run on Windows 7 Home Premium and feature the clear.fi software which allows easy content sharing between various devices. The 15.6-inch Aspire 5750 and 17.3-inch Aspire 7750.
The 15.6 inch Aspire 5750 feature a LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display and powered by the 2nd generation Core (i3/i5/i7) processor and uses the integrated (Intel GMA HD 3000) or discrete (Radeon HD 6650 or GeForce GT 520M/540M) graphics. The system comes pack with 4/8GB of RAM and up to 750GB hard drive plus a DVD writer or Blu-ray combo drive. Currently the price on the Aspire 5750 is about €549.
As for the 17.3 inch Aspire 7750, which has 1600 x 900 display, it comes with similar spec but uses AMD-only discrete graphics – a Radeon HD 6650 or HD 6850. The price is about €599.
Both machince comes other spec such as Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0/3.0 and USB 3.0 port is supported along with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 virtual surround sound, a multi-gesture touchpad and a HDMI output.
